Nassau County Sports Commision is dedicated to bringing the best programs and
sport related activity to "America's First Playground." In addition
to the Lets Do It! and Passport To Opportunity programs, we have new exciting
programs on the way! At
our Annual Awards Dinner, the Nassau County Sport Commission presents the John
Mackey Award (Best Tight End in college football) and the Dick Shaap Award (Excellence
in Sports Journalism), in addition to inducting a new yearly class into the Nassau
County Sports Hall of Fame. 
 
The Nassau County
Sports Commission is a 501 (c)(3) non profit organization and contributions are
tax deductable to the extent allowed by law.Your
