LONG ISLAND SOUNDS FESTIVAL THIS WEEKEND!

The LISF Festival is designed for the disabled and able-bodied participants.
We are working with the Wounded Warriors Project and the Injured Marine Semper-Fi Fund.
80% of all disabled are unemployed* we want to help change that figure to a more reasonable level.  That’s what this Festival is all about.

We have an ambitious schedule.  June 6th Saturday is the 65 commemoration of D-Day – the landing in Normandy – starts off with a Wounded Warriors 5K race and 1Mile walk by the Glen Cove High School at 8:00 AM.
From then on we are in Morgan Park for Music by able and disabled.  On the 7th Sunday we are back in the Park racing outrigger canoes and enjoying the crafts and dinner of an authentic Hawaiian LUAU.  We will offer all activities to the disabled and able-bodied community.

We look forward to demonstrating some of our activities when we visit on Wednesday – June 3 in Morgan Park, City of Glen Cove, NY. ProActive, 3 Brewster Street, Glen cove, NY 11542 – stuheld@aol.com – 516-242-1394
